John E. Lawes

John Lawes is an associate with the Birmingham insurance defense firm of FISH NELSON, L.L.C. John received his BA degree in Political Science from the University of Southern Mississippi and received his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law. While in school John was a member of the University of Mississippi Moot Court Board, the Federalist Society, and Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity. John is a member in good standing of the Alabama Bar Association, The Birmingham Bar Association, The Alabama Claims Association, The Alabama Workers’ Compensation Organization, The West Alabama Workers’ Compensation Organization, The Alabama Workers’ Compensation Defense Lawyers Association, The Alabama Defense Lawyers’ Association, The Montgomery Claims Association, and The Mobile Claims Association. He is admitted to practice in all Alabama State Courts and the Northen District of Alabama Federal Court.
